Joao Paulo took the idea of evolution and growth to find his inspiration. Fast evolution – exponential growth. Bacteria and viruses multiply, grow and evolve at an alarming rate. If you look closer at their world you will see there is a beauty to it like no other. This is where the inspiration for the this AW16-17 collection grew from.
Joao Paulo has done it again – found inspiration and applied it to his clothing and brand. As in previous collections: expect beauty; expect design; expect art. Over the past year Joao Paulo has travelled to UK, Europe, Brazil and Canada to find only the best textiles and the best fabrics.
The structure of bacteria and viruses has been deconstructed and rebuilt into the prints and shapes for this collection.
